Moon welcoming path
Haeundae, in the past, indicated the Dongbaek Island located at eastern sea of the Busan¡¯s Haeundae district but in current days includes the coastal line and the hill named the ¡°Moonhill¡±. In the past, this was a place of a blue ocean, sand, Dongbaek forest, pine forest and is one of the ¡°eight attractions of Busan¡±. The moon seen from moon hill of Haeundae and Chungsapo was commonly described as magnificent. During the Shilla dynasty, Dongrae spring was discovered and was visited by Queen Jinsung and many politicians and the spring was closed due to flood in the summer time. In the 1870s, a spring was discovered and Japanese settled on developing the spring on 1897. Furthermore, Haeundae beach was established in 1965 and became the tourist attraction of Korea. On a good day, Daema Island of Japan can be seen from Haeundae. The district became developed with great spa, high class hotel, seafood Mecca, and an entertainment district. Become a visitor of the coast, under the cold moon, listen to the sound of the waves and make a memory of looking at the night less city
